Who we are and what this policy covers
BERING Time Inc. operates the BERING US online store. This policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information when you visit our Shopify store, make a purchase, contact us or interact with our services and marketing.

Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:
- Contact and account information such as your name, email address, telephone number and account details;
- Billing and delivery addresses;
- Order, payment, purchase and return information;
- Information you provide in contact forms, support conversations, reviews or marketing subscriptions.
Payment information is processed by the payment providers available at checkout.
Our website and integrated services also collect device and online identifiers, IP address, browser information, approximate location derived from technical information, pages and products viewed, browsing activity, referral information, purchase events and cookie or similar identifiers.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through your interaction with the store, and from Shopify, payment providers and other service providers supporting these interactions.
How we use personal information
We use information to:
- Operate the store;
- Process and deliver orders;
- Handle payments, returns and customer support;
- Manage accounts;
- Prevent fraud and protect the store;
- Maintain records and comply with legal obligations;
- Improve our services;
- Subject to applicable consent requirements and your choices, send marketing communications, measure campaigns, personalize content and provide advertising.
Shopify and payment services
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to provide and operate the platform and checkout.
Shopify Payments and the payment providers you choose process the information needed to complete payments and prevent fraud. Wallet providers, including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal Wallet, also process information when you use their services, under their own privacy notices.
We have enabled Shopify Network Intelligence. Information about your interactions with this store, other merchants and Shopify may be shared with Shopify and other parties and used to provide and improve Shopify’s enhanced services, including personalization, advertising and fraud prevention.

Cookies, pixels and connected services
We use necessary technologies to operate the store and checkout, and other technologies for analytics, marketing and advertising where permitted by law and your choices.
Consentmo is installed to manage the store’s cookie consent interface. You can use the cookie preference controls shown on the store to manage available categories. Blocking some technologies can affect store functions.
The integrations identified in the US store include the following:
- Google Tag Manager / dataLayer custom pixel: configured to handle browsing, order and checkout events. Its code includes contact identifiers, including email and telephone information and hashed versions, for measurement and matching. Hashing does not make information anonymous. The tags deployed through this container determine which analytics or advertising providers receive events.
- Attentive: a store embed and customer-event pixel used for marketing-related interactions and messaging.
- HubSpot: a customer-event pixel and installed integration used for customer relationship management and marketing-related measurement.
- Judge.me: a store embed and customer-event pixel used for product reviews and related customer interactions.
- Userlike: the chat integration present in the theme, used to handle support conversations and related technical information.
These services may process online identifiers, event and interaction information, and information you provide to them, according to their role and the choices that apply.
Other installed services support order administration, fulfillment, product feeds and data management.
An optional shipping-protection service, AfterCart Shipping Protection, is installed. If it is offered and you choose it, information needed for that service may be processed by its provider.
Installing a service does not mean every feature is active for every visitor.
How we disclose information
We disclose information as needed to Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment and delivery providers, support and review services, technology and administrative service providers, and marketing or advertising providers where permitted.
We may also disclose information to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction, subject to applicable protections.
Under some US state privacy laws, disclosures of identifiers, internet activity or purchase information to advertising services or Shopify’s enhanced services may be considered a “sale,” “sharing” or processing for targeted advertising, even when no money is paid for the information.
The privacy choices below apply where these uses occur.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your state of residence and the applicable law, you may have rights to:
- Access or know what personal information we hold;
- Obtain a portable copy;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion;
- Opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
You may also have the right to appeal a decision about a privacy request and to use an authorized agent. Some rights are subject to exceptions and identity verification.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Please do not send payment card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information. Authorized agents may be asked for proof of authority.
If you wish to appeal our response, contact us through the same channels and identify your request as an appeal.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Targeted Advertising Opt-out
To request an opt-out where applicable, email info@beringtime.us, call +1 310-417-5025 or use our US contact form and state that you wish to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
You can also manage the cookie categories available through the store’s preference controls.
Advertising opt-outs are separate from unsubscribing from email or text messages; use the instructions in the relevant message to unsubscribe.
Shopify supports Global Privacy Control signals for the store’s data-sharing opt-out in regions configured for this feature.
Browser signals and cookie choices may apply only to that browser or device; you may need to make choices again after changing devices or clearing cookies.
Other than Global Privacy Control, our Shopify store does not recognize general “Do Not Track” signals. Use the privacy choices described above.
Retention, international processing and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining required records, resolving disputes and complying with law.
The period depends on the type of information and the applicable requirements.
Information may be processed outside the United States by Shopify and other service providers.
The US store’s Shopify data storage hosting location is currently configured as the European Union. That setting does not mean every service provider processes information only in that location.
We use safeguards required by applicable law for relevant transfers.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. Our storefront and checkout use HTTPS, but no system or method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children and third-party services
Our store is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.
Third-party websites, wallets and services have their own privacy practices; this policy does not replace their notices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our store, services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest update. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
